The Science of Lagree
Meet Your Challenge with Lagree
Lagree will strengthen your body, firm your muscles, and tone your body quickly and safely. The workout will leave you shaky, sweaty, and sore the next day!
Slow Twitch Muscle Fibers
Our workout is designed to engage slow-twitch muscle fibers, known for supporting extended endurance activities, through deliberate, slow-paced movements that will burn fat and sculpt lean muscles.
Controlled Movements
Executing movements with control amplifies effort in both elements of functional movement for your muscle groups — the push and the pull. The more deliberate your movements, the more optimal your results will be.
Counter Resistance
Utilizing counter-resistance through and with the Megaformer's springs and the weight of the carriage drives your muscles to fatigue (highly beneficial!) and also enhances your overall muscular strength.

For Your First Mega Class
Please maintain a positive and open attitude. The Lagree Method can be challenging and humbling. We encourage you to listen to your body and your instructor.
Grip Socks Required
Grip Socks are MANDATORY for class. Wearing socks ensures the cleanest surfaces on the machine and floor. They aid in both sanitation and safety. If you forget yours, we have them for purchase. They range from $11-15 plus sales tax.
Arrive Early
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class start time. This will allow enough time to sign our forms, buy any add ons for class (water/socks) and to receive your introduction to the Megaformer. We have a ZERO minute late policy for *new clients*. We will turn you away from the class and ask you to reschedule.
Drink Plenty of Fluids
Water will be critical before, during, and after your class. We sell bottled water and energy drinks. We have water fountains available at all locations. Please bring water with you if that is your preference.
What to Expect in Your First Class
The movements are done slowly, in the famous Lagree 4-count, but the transitions are quick.
The movements to be “blocked” together based on body part. Meaning, core movements are blocked together, upper body movements together and left and right legs together- this allows for complete muscle exhaustion.

Our classes will take you through a high-intensity, low-impact, full-body workout. Our classes are for all levels. If you are new to the Megaformer Studio, our trainers will guide you through the workout to ensure you feel comfortable.
